Join Jan Cullen, Project Manager of heritage project Raw Materials: Textiles for a relaxed session exploring lino printing.
Raw Materials: Textiles uncovers the industrial history of textiles in the River Lea Valley – an area close to the QMUL campus. Inspired by the printed designs of Newham-based 19th century fabric printer R&E Littler (who used to print all of Liberty of London’s fabrics) and William Morris, during the workshop you will have the opportunity to design, cut and print your own piece of lino onto fabric.
There are 15 places available. Booking is essential.
This event is supported by Bow Arts Trust and Arts & Culture at Queen Mary University of London.
